Your air conditioner works harder in Texas than almost anywhere else in the country. From late spring straight through October, it runs almost constantly just to keep your home comfortable. Add in the humidity, and you have conditions that put serious wear on your equipment year after year.
The homeowners who get the most out of their HVAC systems are the ones who stay on top of maintenance before problems start. Not after something breaks. Not when the house is 85 degrees and a technician cannot come until Tuesday. Before any of that happens.
Kool Zone’s maintenance plans are built specifically for Tomball homeowners who want their system ready when they need it, their repair costs under control, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing a trusted local team has eyes on their equipment twice a year.
What Is Included in Every Plan
Every Kool Zone maintenance plan includes two scheduled visits per year. The first happens during cooling season, between March and April, right before the Texas heat ramps up. The second comes during heating season, between October and November, before you start relying on your furnace. Both visits include a full diagnostic fee waiver, so if something needs attention, you are not paying just to find out what it is.
Here is what gets checked and serviced at each visit:
Cooling Season Visit (March 1 – May 1)
Your technician will clean the evaporator coil, flush the drain lines to prevent water damage and clogs, clean the blower components and condenser coils, lubricate all moving parts, check refrigerant levels, monitor voltage and amperage, inspect the thermostat, and run through the full AC cycle to confirm everything is operating correctly. A written diagnostic report is provided at the end of every visit.
Heating Season Visit (October 31 – December 31)
Your technician will clean the burners and heat exchanger, adjust gas pressure, check pilot operation, lubricate moving parts, monitor flue draft, check and tighten all electrical connections, test safety controls, check motor amp draw, adjust airflow, and inspect the heat exchanger for any cracks or wear. You will receive a written diagnostic report at the end of this visit as well.
Both visits are scheduled at your convenience, and plan members receive priority scheduling year-round so if something comes up between visits, you are not waiting in line behind non-members.
MAINTENANCE PLAN OPTIONS
Choose the Plan That Works for You
All three plans include the same comprehensive two-visit service schedule, diagnostic fee waivers, repair and equipment discounts, and priority scheduling. The difference is simply how long you want your coverage to run.
Great Value Plan: $219 One year of coverage. Additional units are $99 each. This is a great starting point for homeowners who want to experience the plan before committing longer term. Monthly payment options are available.
Better Value Plan: $369 Two years of coverage. Additional units are $198 each. This plan saves you money compared to renewing annually and locks in your rate for two full years. Monthly payment options are available.
Best Value Plan: $489 Three years of coverage. Additional units are $297 each. This is the best long-term value for homeowners who want complete peace of mind and the lowest cost per year. Monthly payment options are available.

Why Tomball Homeowners Choose a Kool Zone Maintenance Plan
The number one reason people miss their annual AC service is simple – they forget to schedule it until something breaks. A maintenance plan removes that entirely. Your visits are already on the calendar. You do not have to think about it.
Beyond the convenience, plan members save real money every year. The diagnostic fee is waived on both visits, which alone covers a significant portion of the plan cost. On top of that, members receive 10 percent off any repairs needed and 5 percent off equipment purchases. For a system that may need a capacitor, a contactor, or a refrigerant recharge at some point, those discounts add up quickly.
And when something does go wrong, priority scheduling means you are not stuck waiting days for a technician during the hottest stretch of a Texas summer. Members move to the front of the line.
Regular maintenance also keeps your warranty intact. Many HVAC manufacturers require documented annual service to honor warranty claims. Without that paper trail, a repair that should be covered may not be.
For Tomball homeowners, a maintenance plan is not really an extra expense. It is what keeps the bigger expenses from happening.
